Silicon Valley Opens its A.I. to All

Microsoft and Amazon offer open A.I. platform

Follow Google in allowing independent developers tools to build own A.I.

By just going to Microsoft and Amazon's Gulon or Google's Tensorflow, any machine learning or neural network developer can have access to the tools to go to work and create their own A.I.

This open source model could be beneficial to both individuals and tech companies. It would mean opportunity for individuals to build something with commercial value and for the companies, it could be a way for random people to improve upon their already existing neural nets. From Futurism

Toyota autonomous vehicles to come with friendly A.I.

Toyota plans to introduce its driverless vehicle platform in a few years loaded with A.I. Not only the kind that processes raw road data to stay planted to the road and free of a collision but also the warm and fuzzy kind.

Riding along with passengers on its new 2020 i's will be Yui, a voice recognition A.I. that plans on building friendly relations and becoming more than just a car but a companion.

Toyota wants their AI to be able to chat with drivers and get to know them better by using their preferences, emotions, and habits, which Yui builds through deep learning. From Futurism
