IQ measurements rate Google A.I. the smartest
Google A.I. smarter than Microsoft Siri
A recent academic paper published by Chinese researchers looking into the IQs of A.I. systems found some are smarter than others.
Measuring all of the major tech players around the world, the team discovered Google earns valedictorian honors with an IQ of 47.28. Chinese search engine Baidu was second with a score 32.92, followed by Microsoft Bing 31.98. In last is Microsoft Siri with a tally of 23.94.
The average IQ of an American human is around 100 give or take five points. Google's A.I. IQ has doubled since 2014. So, by that measure, expect that by 2020 artificial intelligence will be as smart as the average American human.
